I will always paint, I can’t not do it! It’s a strong expression of who I am.  It brings me joy and satisfaction and I recognise the gift that is mine to use.  But three years ago my physical health was severely impacted and I wondered if this was the end of my painting career.

Increasingly stiff muscles and joints meant my right, dominant arm was painful to move.  My neck was stiff, my sleep impacted and my brain was foggy.  Joy and motivation was on a downwards spiral.  The physically demanding nature of my work meant I was doing less and less and I began to despair of ever feeling well again. 

And then, at my lowest point, I reunited with a friend and Zinzino partner who encouraged me to take a simple, at-home blood test that gave me the hard facts on my health and what I could do about it.
